the bintan tripas usual, the pictures shall tell the story.

tanah merah ferry terminal, leaving for bintan. first time there.. and to be honest, i actually expected something more lok kok.. no aircons, just a boarding bay or sth. surprisingly, it looked like a mini airport!

our hotel bintan lagoon! omg.. damn nice sia. and the service was good. once we arrived, we were given iced towels and drinks while they help us check in to our room.

oops.. did i say it was a 'room'? it was a SUITE lah!! i know the photo above is abit too dark to let you see how comfy is the room,

yeah! you are really looking at my
room suite for that 3 days. and be assured the photos came from my cam, not downloaded from hotel's website!

went to oleh oleh...

to do..

traditional massage! (or spa sth) with aromatherapy!

satisfied!

oleh oleh!

it was just basically a small town with alot of shops selling the same gifts and sarongs. a little overpriced considering we were in indonesia. but den, everything is SERIOUSLY overpriced in bintan.

at night, visited Silk, lagoon's very own pub. with a live band. they were good man!

cheers!

can't miss the sea if you're going to bintan. (even though we were quite suay cos the few days were all rainy days)

can see how much we love our sea..

nicely posed with our flippers. just back form our snokelling trip. it was my first time and really, im still quite trauma about the fact the fish nibbled my fingers. it was an exciting experience for me cos it was my first time. but actually, the corals were quite dead so there is nothing for you to really see except for the fishes. experienced ppl, i would suggest you guys to go to nicer places.

candid!
rainy rainy days so we can't do alot of sea activities. we did some kayaking. when we rented the equipments i asked the instructor how far we can kayak, since i don't see any boundaries. they just smile at me and say: as long i can see you! wahh.. william and me kept wanting to kayak to some island of nowhere and since maureen was in the same kayak as me she basically got no choice. william got sea-sickness! we even kayaked to one small sampan anchored quite far away from the shore to see the fisherman and his fishes. amazed about the size of the fishes. quite hard to believe there were fishes of that big size swimming just under our kayak.

since it was a rainy rainy day, we din't waste time but spent some time at a poolside pub.

alcoholic drinks, smoothies, pizza. pool, slight drizzle, great company. what more can you ask for? like tai tais relaxing our life there lah!

dinner: we splurged abit and had a arab and mediterranean style buffet. the food was... okay. abit too exotic for our liking. :P

visited Silk after that again. haha.. it was a good place lah. damn nice to chill out with friends cos the band was great and there were not many ppl around the place. most of the groups we saw came on the first night as well.

slacking in our room. that was after our ball games at the beach on the next day. also the last day at bintan.

checking out!

saying bye bye to bintan lagoon... :'(
and..

back in singapore!

nice trip!! (:
