the hong kong trip

day 1.
on the plane.. all excited.. and three hours from hong kong!!
chio right.. feel like sleeping in it..

see those mountains behind the apartments? haha.. ppl living there are like “隐居在深山里”.
after a looooong walk, (and got lost halfway.. finally admit defeated and proclaim that we cannot find our hotel. took a cab there and realised we are near it ! haiz.. its just that its blocked by some building.. learning point: book a hotel that is right beside the mtr station. ) we finally reach our hotel room. was a little sian to see its not very big. juz good enough for 2 beds. BUT! things changed when i see this:
wahseh... PLASMA TV??!? and 24hr repeat telecast of the world cup (not to forget the live matches). *faints* i was so so happy we decided to book this hotel. muahahaha.. after tt we went shopping around causeway bay le so not much pics taken.
day 2.
another shopping day at mongkok.
langham place. damn chio AND high-class. haha.. machiam another taka. cannot afford lah.. spotted a very cool shop there..
a shop that sells bus models. very cool sia.. i spotted a few "promotional buses" of the tvb serials. too bad i nv take any photos of them.. scared i tio gan.. dun dare try anything funny there.. haha.. basically its another shopping day.. 花园街，女人街.. blar blar.. things are very cheap there sia.. oh yah.. wanna intro a shopping centre named 新之城 which is situated right beside the mongkok mtr station (u'll be able to see the directions to the place at the mtr station). a very nice place to shop. we spent like.. near 4hrs there! can imagine how much things we have to drag back to our hotel room.. hahahaha..
day 3.
breakfast at 茶餐厅 near our hotel.
breakfast was the must-eat wantan mee. i was like.. wat is singapore's wantan mee?! ppl's wantan got at least 3 to 4 prawns inside de lor! the wantan mee here are normally served as the soup kind.. more 清淡...

we continued our shopping之旅 after that.
买东西吃东西买东西吃东西！！oh yah.. i was eating my 士多啤梨冰糖葫芦。wat is 士多啤梨 u wanna ask?? haha.. i saw this "name" all over hk and was very curious abt it.. and i finally realised wat exactly is that when i passed by this stall selling this 冰糖葫芦。so i bought that in order to commemorate this moment of enlightenment.. haha.. ans below.. (: try guessing first!
day 4.
all set for the day! 出发！！(tt's our identical watch btw.. haha.. i think we bought it at 花园街)
breakfast at another 茶餐厅。still wantan mee. i tell u.. the 豆浆 here simpy rocks. we went back on the last day to buy their 豆浆 again. can't get over the taste still.. hmm..
香港 mtr station! on our way to 东涌 station to catch the cable car to 大屿山。(oh yah.. “涌” here is pronounced as chong1. don't ask me why..) we were informed that the cable car was having technical problems and we have to take the bus up. wahlau.. damn sian diao.. u will know why later..

yeah! arrived!
its not me.. its the CLOUDS!! wahseh.. can imagine how high up we were? and abt the very dui part..:
see the cable car in the background?? THE CABLE CAR GOES RIGHT INTO THE CLOUDS AND BETWEEN THE MOUNTAINS LAH!! wahlau.. next time im there i want to take that cable car. i just want.

reached! eh.. hair abit messy lah. a few caucasians were sitting around slacking. haha.. i think they are very smart cause this place is also quite high up the mountains so it was breezy, and the air was very fresh. damn 舒服。
we left the place and headed to shen shui bu for some shopping (shen shui bu not in chinese cos i can't find the word bu..). after tt we went to 尖沙咀的...

its still early for the "symphony of lights multimedia show".. so we went to the famous 糖朝 for some desserts.

we did went back to watch the show. but it was okay only lah.. not the very wow kind.. haha.. we den ended our day by going 庙街 and trying the famous 兴记煲仔饭。i think its not bad lah.. but oso not very wow leh.. oops.. :P oh yah.. it was damn difficult to go there okay.. haiz.. maybe because we insisted we dun want to take mtr there and took the bus instead. the bus stopped at the other end of the 庙街。walked to the end but did not find the stall. tot we lost our way den realised e other part of 庙街 is blocked by the temple? (i can't remember wat is it). wasted abit of time there.
day 5.
took the tram (电车) to 中环。

breakfast in sight!
err.. its not supposed to be out of shape.. anyway.. its damn nice! imagine piping HOT egg tarts in your mouth.. the crust breaks first with the slightest touch by your tongue and the egg part so soft u can swallow down without noticing! *dripping saliva*

next, we went to the famous 永华面家 to eat.. yes.. their wantan mee.. (:

after that we went to take the ferry to lamma island.

can't really see from above pic.. but actually the houses are in the clouds (yes.. its the clouds again.) me and wf was saying how cool it will be if we live there and be able to be so near the clouds everyday. i said: the person living there will wake up one morning, step into the balcony, only to see nothing but white clouds. he will 翻白眼 and say: oh.. in the clouds AGAIN. haha.. wf heard this and totally sian diao..

day 6. and the last day.
did not do much.. just walked around our area.
da bao char siew rice back to our hotel room to eat. the char siew rice - every piece of char siew is at least 3 times thicker den the ones u see in singapore. ard the same number of pieces. price ard the same as well. n it's MUCH nicer. (ignoring the fact that theres alot of fats)
