orientation lasted for 5 days, ended on January 7, 2005.
first time being an ogl (or ctl)... cool~ great experience. the j1s are great..
first two days were boring toks... j1s are temp given a group.. so sj, junliang and mi were in charge of og G32. they were a bunch of fun-loving peps.. i can see that... but bcos they were group temp... we cnt teach them the cheers from the clan.. hahaz... so din really got high with them...
3rd day. the j1s were re-grouped into their cts according to their combi. we were den in charge of 05S21. double maths double science combi. gosh. the whole class has 28 peps, only 26 turned up, out of which only 6 are girls... 20 guys!!!! hahaz.... den we were saying our guys will became hot stuffs during the mass dance....
first day (officially).. we suay suay tio orienteering... when the guys dun really noe each other. so the class went stoney most of the time... we were starting to think this is the most quiet class in clan 6 poirot....
second day.. games came in... we can start sensing the spirit.... cheers came in.... although we still have to lead them and push them a little.... AT LEAST they were responding.. hahaz.... enthu enthu enthu... obviously its the clan time tt got them real high... bombing sessions and cheer com bet the clans. next day is the finale. we have to decide on a mascot. boring session. everybody stoned.. by then, all the ogls (or ctls cos they were already grouped according to their cts) were already damn tired... imagine everyday scream and cheer and be enthu and to lead them... and have to wake up early in the morning and be one of the lasted to go home.... but we still have to be enthu and try to bring them to decide on sth. still stoned. plan failed. haha... so we decided to let them bring stuffs den tml den decide wat to do with them. wat made mi real touched is that everybody start volunteering to bring the materials.. like trying to make up for the stoney part cos they really cant contribute any ideas.... :D
third day. morning mass dance.. quite ok... afternoon have to pangseh my grp cos got tt damn presentation. called yingbin to help mi with the afternoon games cos junliang was sick and i dun think sj can lead the cheers (u noe games--like before game cheer, after games cheer, during games oso must cheer...). i heard yingbing was great.. haha... really grateful to him..... *muacks.. and oso.. we have to settle the mascot thingy... din have any ideas as the day b4... so the great hero yingbin came in again!!! i think the whole mascot was settle by him de... wah!!! life-saver!!! how i wish i can juz marry him or sth.. whahahhaaha~~...when i joined them back halfway during the games... the peps were already so heat up that a few attitude (or are they simply buay enthu? haha... but they are funny.. lol..) guys started to lead to cheer their class mates during the games... and i start t see people leading the "ho bo" cheer (cos it requires a lead and a reply.. 2 groups) after the games. damn touched again... :D
finale. our whole class was involved. damn enthu. even have peps in the class to start organising their classmates... leaders emerging... real happy to see that they are getting self motivated. our skit was much better den some others... and my whole class was up on stage throwing the newspapers at the "natalie" (for those who saw the skit... u noe wat i mean..) haha... they truly enjoyed themselves... and this was the day everybody got realy hyped and start cheering and cheering.... best of all..... WE ARE THE CHAMP CLAN~~~~~!!!!!! hahaz... that was a pleasant surprise... nobody really expected that but when it was announced.... poirot (that's our clan name) juz got crazy and screamed and screamed and everybody juz start jumping and jumping and hugging each other.... WOOT~ U GUYS REALLY ROCKS MAN!!
haha... when i was standing in front leading the cheers, i finally got the feeling waat's like being an ogl. the feeling is great. u noe u have the responsibility to hyped up the group. u lead them. feel their response... its and unexplainable feeling. ;)
05S21 was GREAT! RESPECT! *use fist to hit ur chest 2 times den hit the ground. even if they are not going to stay in pjc... i really really hope they will remember the great times they had during the orientation...
